Fast becoming one of the most exciting singer-songwriters to emerge in Australian country music, Clancy Pye grew up with country music in her blood. Raised in a musical family on a farm just outside of Oberon (NSW), Clancy picked up a guitar at the age of six, cut her teeth playing in bars, and has since built a loyal and growing fanbase drawn to her heartfelt storytelling and authentic sound.

Clancy released her debut self-titled EP in 2020, earning strong support from fans and radio stations nationwide. Her breakout singles Get Lost’ and ‘Heaven Can't Wait’ both debuted at #1 on the iTunes Country Singles Chart with her accompanying music videos also attracting widespread attention. The music video for ‘Heaven Can’t Wait’ amassed over 250,000 views on social media alone, featuring touching tributes to those people who inspired the song.

No stranger to the big stage, Clancy is a 2020 and 2022 Toyota Star Maker Grand Finalist and has performed at some of Australia’s biggest country music festivals, including CMC Rocks and The Gympie Music Muster, both as a solo artist and as a backing vocalist and guitarist for leading country acts such as Kaylee Bell and Mickey Pye. She has also performed internationally, accompanying her older brother Mickey Pye to perform at renowned country music festivals in Canada (Big Valley Jamboree) and Nashville (CMA Fest). 

Influenced by the likes of Lori McKenna, Brandy Clark, Kasey Chambers and Natalie Hemby, songwriting sits at the heart of Clancy’s artistry. Her ability to capture ideas & connect with her audience with emotional depth and originality has become a defining feature of her music.

Devoting years to writing an extensive catalogue of music, Clancy has wrapped up recording of her debut album with Producer Sean Rudd (The Vault Studios) and has begun giving fans a taste of what’s to come, with four singles released off her album so far. The title track and first single ‘Feels Like Home’ sets the tone for the project, encapsulating Clancy’s connection to her upbringing, highlighted by a music video filmed in her picturesque hometown of Oberon. Her follow-up single ‘Drink About’ quickly became a fan favourite, praised for its feel-good energy and contemporary country production, while recent releases ‘Days Like This’ and ‘Hey Mama’ have struck an emotional chord with listeners through their poignant lyrics and powerful visuals.

Following extensive touring throughout 2024 and 2025 with Jason Owen and Tania Kernaghan, as well as a performing a co-headlining show with Mickey Pye and Tameka Kennedy at the 2026 Tamworth Country Music Festival, Clancy now turns her focus to 2026. With the release of her debut album on the horizon and plans for a regional tour to follow, Clancy Pye is firmly cementing herself as an artist to watch in Australian country music.
